Windwaze is designed, manufactured, and sold by a team of entrepreneurs united by two lifelong passions: design and sailing. We have been building electronics and exploring the seas since our teenage years, and that passion continues to drive us today.

Based in Stockholm and surrounded by its unique archipelago, the idea for Windwaze grew out of our own sailing experiences in the Mediterranean, where we often found that forecasted wind conditions differed significantly from reality.

Our vision is to build a community of sailors who share live wind observations, making it easier for everyone to make better and safer decisions about routes, anchorages, and mooring locations. By combining real-time measurements from Windwaze units across the sailing community, we hope to provide a more accurate picture of the conditions that actually matter — the wind where you are about to sail or anchor, right now.
